How does a bungee jump work?

STEP 1: Welcome & gear-upYou are fitted with a certified safety harness1st briefing before heading onto the bridge: you will be autonomous on the safety line and can enjoy the Himalayan bridge and the aerial swing (this is our "Bridge Tour" activity, which is included for jumpers)STEP 2: Walk across the bridge to the jump zone:You walk across the bridge while enjoying exclusive access to its arches, as well as the dizzying view between the Indian Ocean and the mountains.Upon arriving at your jump zone in the middle of the bridge, the instructors give a 2nd briefing specific to the pendulum jumpSTEP 3: THE BIG JUMP 🔥You experience the ultimate thrill of your lifeYou are lowered by winch into the bed of the Bras de la Plaine river, where an instructor receives you gently before being hoisted back up by winch while enjoying a unique 360-degree view

How do you get back up after a bungee jump?

After the jump, an instructor lowers you directly into the bed of the Bras de la Plaine using the winch. You are received smoothly by another instructor who takes care exclusively of you—a true VIP experience. You are then winched back up in under 2 minutes while enjoying the majestic 360-degree view between the ocean and the mountains 😍

What is the weight limit for bungee jumping?

To do a bungee jump, you need to weigh between 40 and 140 kg, either solo or in tandem. We have 4 different cords depending on your weight range, so that everyone jumps with the same level of comfort 🤗

What is the age limit for bungee jumping?

Accepted Answer

Bungee jumping is accessible from 13 years old and there is no upper age limit ☺️ MANDATORY: -18: provide parental authorization if a parent is not present, and be accompanied by an adult on the bridge on the day of the jump (bridge tour at 15€). +55: provide a medical certificate of no contraindication to jumping dated within the last 3 months.

Tandem bungee jumping at the Bras de la Plaine bridge is available at Vertikal Jump.With us, the price remains 95€ per person, which is 190€ to jump as a pair 😉As long as the total weight does not exceed 140 kg, you can take advantage of it to share this unforgettable experience with your favorite person 😍

What is the difference between a bungee jump and a rope jump?

Bungee jump: you take a swan dive into 115 meters of void with a cord attached to your ankles and enjoy the bounces for an exceptional sensation Rope jump: jumpers are attached at the harness level by dynamic ropes and launch from the side of the bridge. The departure is very free-flowing, allowing for tricks and lifts during tandem jumps. The catch is smooth and ends with a swinging motion similar to a pendulum along the bridge
